The open world of Redfall used to be pleasant, sunny, even quaint, but things have taken a turn for the worse.

Chances are they'll find some answers to the apocalypse while exploring this other dimension and encounter some powerful enemies hiding out there.A new Redfall gameplay trailer was just published, and this one showcases the areas that players can expect to traverse through. The group will eventually encounter a sort of shadow dimension of Redfall that the vampires are probably using to move around the island. For instance, these bloodsuckers can freely enter holy grounds with no apparent consequences, while their traditional counterparts cannot. While the creatures appear to follow some basic vampire stereotypes like vulnerability to sun exposure, they're clearly not exactly like pop culture vampires. According to Redfall's official website, the vampires were created in a science experiment that got out of control, and are evolving and multiplying. Each of the main characters are in the town for their own reasons, but have to band together when vampires appear and block out the sun in their conquest of the town.
Redfall is a first-person shooter survival game that takes place in the little island town of Redfall, Massachusetts. She stumbles across some vampires and has to fight her way out. The trailer begins with Layla investigating some disappearances at one of the churches in town. They not only had the power to block out the sun, but also push back the ocean surrounding the island to completely isolate the town. Layla also reveals the vampires are incredibly strong. His invisibility could give him the advantage of becoming almost completely ghostlike, preventing enemies from being able to sense him as a living entity.Ĭombat requires a combination of stealth and strategy, necessary to avoid being overrun by vampires and their cult followers. The raven seems to be able to act as a sort of telescope or drone for Jacob, enabling him to see enemies from far away. More of Jacob's powers are also revealed. Layla uses her telekinetic powers to help her gun combat as well as helping her friends evade enemies. He appears to have a variety of weapons that range from paralysis to petrification. Remi relies on guns and her robot buddy, while Devinder uses his own inventions and guns. The pre-beta gameplay shows every character's fighting along with some of the weapons players can utilize.
Again, players have the option to go solo or collaborate with other players in their adventure. The game's recent gameplay trailer reveals more information about what to expect from Redfall.
